Line of scientific research: theory of magnetism of the nanosized structures, influence of cluster type defects on magnetic and electric properties of perovskite-like solid solution of metallic oxide. Optical properties of diamondlike nanofilms.

Basic results

  • Using a phenomenological theory, the phase diagrams of metastable magnetic ordering in the nanosized films were obtained taking into account competitive character of surface and volume anisotropies.
  • By the method of high temperature x-ray analysis, the abnormal behavior of grate parameter in area of temperatures of FM-PM phase transitions, «metal-semiconductor» and magneto-resistive transition were detected.
  • The special laser ellipsometer with autocollimation control of incidence angle for thickness determination, falling of refraction and extinction coefficient of diamondlike films was created. The measurings of optical transmittance of diamondlike films in the range of wavelength 300-1000 nm are shown that transmittance dependences from a wavelength is approximated by the sum of three Gausses curves instead of two as usual. It is determined that at the increase of substrate temperature under the film deposition the phase contribution increases.
